    I have been going to La Plaza for years. Very solid and consistent food.  Breakfast is always spot on. Fajita tacos are real good .  A little gem in Spring Branch.

    my favorite food since 1983 when I merry my husband. service is great they know all the customers and your treated line family. I have enjoyed every item on tune menu but breakfast is my favorite.  for dinner Paul's favorite I'd the easy to go.  they recently added more space and remodeled its looking great.  great place for authentic Mexican food with o.t the crowd

    Small restaurant BUT food is tasty n good service. Reminds me of a Waffle House but Mexican style and of course way smaller but definitely  recommend !

    Great spot for comfort grub. This little place often gets a bad rap for its style of food. It isn't the typical authentic taqueria & it's not truly a texmex restaurant. Truth is, the joint has been here for over 30 years serving fresh food, at an affordable price. The menudo is ok, but their breakfast is kickass and not too greasy. The place is old, but always super clean. THEY SELL BEER, BY THE WAY. Service is great, though sometimes it can be slow.  My wife & I will continue to support it.

    "Best Menudo in Houston!" This is a quote from my girlfriend. As she takes in her first bite, she is instantly reminded of her grandmother. The authenticity of the recipe tastes just like home she says. The food is fresh, from the guacamole to the oil used for the breaded chicken. I had the huevos rancheros, with a side of bacon. The usual. I think I just found my new breakfast spot! Don't sit by the tv though, the A/C will get ya!
